just got a £60 parking ticket in a car park behind the gym i use[in the car] is there anything i can do to get out of paying?

nope, always easier to pay.
i had a gay parking ticket for parking in a permit zone at 4:15 when it says ''no parking from 0700-1630''

ive got a VD sticker on it, so on the ticket he wrote ''suzuki visordown''

oh how i LOL'd

Do you not get the 50% off if you pay within 7 days?

I got a parking ticket in my haggard Fiesta once. Although it was my own fault as I parked next to the sign that said "permit holders only" Mr. Green Neutral

Head over to www.Pepipoo.com and have a look around. Chances are it was a private firm and you had an infered contract so easy to get out of.

Private firms relay on threating letters and intimation and cant legally enforce parking tickets.

i said its easier to pay as it avoids hassle, plus you probably have to pay £30 if its within 14 days or something.

it says the carpark is BEHIND the gym, not AT the gym, therefore it could be a pay and display.

the tickets for parking/WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT OR AUTHORITY. i have to pay £60 within 10 days to UKCPS. got over it now but £60 is over the top.

Manners cost nothing. Even if he did give wrong information, then that would be a genuine mistake not rudeness. I think his opinion was as valid as anyone elses.

If you think he was wrong you could just say so, and why without being insulting.

Except UKCPS is a private firm so you don't really have to pay the parking ticket. COuld get to be even more fun if you're not the registered keeper of the vehicle.

you are missing the point.

Yes your advice is better than matt'sif you can save the guy some cash, but there is no need to be rude.

You can make your point just as well without it.

In this one its not even as if you have to shout down mattspratt, as if the parking ticket guy wants to take your advice, he will.

As said its a private firm, was there warning signs up? They are just holding you to ransom with £60! As said off private land its £30 then goes up to £60 if not paid within a certain time. What happens if you don't pay in the 10 days, does it say on the ticket?

I dont need methadone, if I have no one to rob for smack money I just rob smack heads for smack, go direct like those direct to the trade places, cuts out the middle man.
