I'll be re-insuring my bike soon.

I just fancy a new helmet, nothing fancy..£30 or so, its either that or spend some money on a new visor since some cock broke it

So any sites?

My bikes red, fancy design?

£30 on a lid?

Well it's your head. I suppose you want to look at Nitro though.

Okay...

I like a red and white theme if there is one?

I dont wanna spend much on a lid cause i wont be riding my bike for much longer...and wont be getting another one for a few years.

My lid is a little tatty and the visor is broke so instead of spending £17 on a new visor i might just add a little more cash and buy a new lid.

Cheers for the help

Why did you rate that abusive?

He is right and was being helpful to you.

The lidl helmets were thirty quid last time they had them in.

Seconded with the HJC bargains

www.cissburyleathers.co.uk - usually plenty to chose from.

Often infinity motorcycles do top of the range HJCs for 50 quid - i'm talking about CL14's and FG14's IF you're lucky - both are very good lids and i'd have them any day over nitro which are heavy and just tacky looking in my opinion. Stay away from takachi - i don't think they'd do well in a crash - had one in the garage which used to belong to a mate and had fun chucking it against a wall (it was crash damaged -scuffed)

What type of lid do you have now? It might be a safer option buying a new visor, than buying a £30 lid.

Just to let you know Lidl has motorbike gear in stock from Thur 13th March (That's this wednesday) I had a quick look at the leaflet and there is some decent stuff in! I will be getting 2 things, 1 is an alarmed disc lock for £9.99 & a decent quailty stereo headset (pads stick onto cloth inside helm, not into ear buds) and a boom mic + radio for £24.99 per set! Amazingly cheap as it will hook up to any other radio.

I'm so glad my mate is the manager there haha Laughing

I have two cheap takachi lids and a shoei one which I got for free off my uncle (he got banned three days after buying)

I prefer the cheap lids, they fit better, the visor seals better and the shoei one gets dirty quicker.

2 for £84. Not bad

https://www.thekeycollection.co.uk/vemar/vrx5_movistar.html Not saying from where as the manager was rather shocked that one of his underlings had labeled it wrongly. He would not chuck a pair of goggles in for the same price though Mr. Green

He doesn;t mean he generally prefers cheap lids, he means in those specific examples they both fit better, and I would agree that fit is the most important thing, unfortunatly for my wallet arais fit me really well.
