bought a new Arai viper today, feels really nice and snug on but not painful but it is tight coming off over the ears. Larger one was too loose on. Probably not helped by having it on and off about 20 times today but getting friction marks on my temples when taking it off. How long to break it in?

Did you get the arai custom fitted by the store for a better fit? cos if you did, it will take a good amount of time before it feels broken in! It hurts for the first 3 days. But as lonewolf rightly said, a properly fitted lid should take about a week, after which your arai feel like a second home to your head. I love mine.

not a custom fit as such but spent 2 hrs in HG trying various sizes. The Medium feels great on but it is a bastard to get it on and off and my ears ain't that big! The L was too loose on, can't really say it went on any easier though

although I've now realised my Caberg I've been using despite being the same size is way too loose. The dealer reckoned it was eperfect when I bought it but I reckon I was screwed being a newbie. The bloke in HG today was superb. Even did the visor change demo and put the pinlock in
