As per the title, I've seen a few people showing them off, and have a basic idea of what they do (other than look pretty)

Would you reccomend getting them? Any horror stories? Don't like them? How are they to live with? etc

Let me know your opinions.

My bike is a J1 ZX6R.

Cheers

I got them for my NSR as I was fed up grinding the standard pegs out.

I would have thought that the only reasons for getting them would be:

1. Grinding your current pegs all the time;
2. The current position being uncomfortable, and you want adjustables to give you more room (which woudl make problem 1 worse, if you suffered from it in the first place).

Other than that it's just tart factor.

I have them for my blade(Harris).

Ok for looks only, but they do adjust your riding position.
If you have the spare cash, go for it, you can only take them off and sell if you dont like em, and you'll probably get your money back!

Baz.

Have them on the TLR and had them on the Ducati.

A good set will have so much adjustabilty to really make the position suit you, they also CAN look cool.

Hi

Also most are non folding so act as a crash protector to an extent.

I have some on the Bandit. Bought for doing top speed runs to lift my feet as high as pos and try and reduce the frontal area a touch.

Expect more vibration through the footrests. Probably not a major issue on most bikes.

All the best

Keith

Except on big rumbling v-twins where it rattles you're bones.
