I bought two of the walkie talkies, and they rock! really good feel to them, and 5km range. I'm not sure how well they will link up with other brands as they only have 8 channels, so I bought two of them, and at £25 with the flat cloth head phones/mic/handlebar PTT, they are great!.
Just need to get my bike back on the road to test them out over wind noise. The also have VOX, but I dare say the PTT button on the handlebar may prove more useful with wind noise/random swearing at cars lol.
Kit fit quite well into my AGV, and seems to be audible enough. Easy to use and set up, and the unit itself can be plugged in to recharge the batteries.
I bought one of the rider/pillion intercoms about two years ago for £5 and its still working well, hopefully these will prove as good, also they have 3 year warranty.

Also bought one of the back protectors, and its fits well, is good and adjustable, nice and comfy, fits under my leathers well, and seems to offer good protection, reaching over my shoulder blades and down past my coccis. ____________________ My Bikes - - - Royal Enfield 500 with sidecar, VFR800, CBR600FX,

Out of all of that I'd only even think of using the walkie talkies and the balaclava.
When I did my CBT in December the bloke warned me that they're starting to sell helmets and said not to touch them with a 10ft pole.
I don't plan to. ____________________ Riding a 2001 Piaggio NRG MC3 DT (Well, would be if it worked right now)

Danny, yun, my other half and I were looking at these radios and wondered which would be the best for the four of us to be connected to each other whilst riding ? (we dont know anything about radios/walky talkies) Do the earpiece and mics really fit nicely/securely under the helmet?
We were also considering looking into proper brand walky talkies as the alternative as they could be used whilst we were on skiing holidays (but probably cost a bit more).... ____________________ www.artridertraining.co.uk |

I bought one of the 25 quid bike to bike units and it works very nicely indeed with the one my mate paid £140 for last week. ____________________ As seen on Google Street View https://tinyurl.com/yfdvojc |

I've got the socks and the thermals, not very sexy but they do the job for which they were intended well enough |

Scratch that. When I first got the set we checked compatibility using it just as a walkie talkie. When you rig it up into a lid with the supplied headset, there is not enough volume and the clarity is utter crap. ____________________ As seen on Google Street View https://tinyurl.com/yfdvojc |

Went in today for the dregs.
Got charger, gloves and socks.
Socks and gloves took the journey home from Bradford - York.
8/10 gloves, 9/10 socks.
Gloves said windproof and clearly are, construction seems good. Waterproof claim I take with a pince of salt as no gloves with leather can be fully w/proof.
Feel was a tad awkward to begin with with inner liners i wore, improved as journey went on. Very good fasteners with zero gappage for draughts.
Socks had advantage of 13 quid windproof boot liners over, but very comfy (no digging in) and did the job that two pairs of 'civvy' socks usually do.
30 odd mile breezy journey and feet and hands not cold at end.
Other gear looked decent, tried a lid on just cause I could
Seemed ok for price. Almost got back protector and rainsuit but payday isn't until tomorrow!!! ____________________ CBR125|||GSXR400|||CBR400|||CBR400|||CB250RS|||GSXR750|||CB250RS
