yes they are, takes a while to get them in properly (to sit in the right position) but they are brilliant, specially if you wear glasses!

Cool thanks

About a month ago i bought an RST Race Vent lid, and the visor is constantly fogging up.
Before that i was using a cheep box lid and that barely ever fogged.

looks like i,ll be ordering one tommorow, probly the carbon one to match my lid (im not a tart, honest Mr. Green )

Cheers for the quick reply

no problem mate. spend a while putting it in properly, should be snug fit. I rushed it in my arai and it annoyed me a lil as it would push down on the nose slightly. Laughing

What's the point, I spent 2 years trying different anti fog products, all crap.

And then the pinlock arrived!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome, I've totally forgotten about fogging up, misting, spraying stuff inside the visor, leaving the visor open by 5-10mm.

I used to have one and it drove me nuts. If I wasn't fiddling with it all the time because it didn't feel right, I would be sucking it up my nose everytime I breathed in. Rolling Eyes I always managed to pull it out everytime I took my helmet off too.

Only time I've ever used a pinlock, the join between the visor and the top of the strip was right in front of my eyes and started to annoy me, as well as reducing vision. It was probably my mis-shaped head though causing the chin piece to be lower than it should.

I've had that when lying flat on the tank.

However they do a new pinlock called the Superbiker. I've bought one just not fitted it yet, will do when the nice weather arrives.

I use a Foggy.
Pain in the arse at first until I eventually got it in the right position.
After that it's fantastic.

Problems disappeared after I started wearing contact lenses. Pinlock fitted in my shoei and arai clear - fog city in my arai tinted. Well worth the effort - no problems with breathing or visibility. Thumbs Up

whats the difference between these and the normal anti fog breath reflector things?

I have one that came with my helmet but it doesnt fit my face at all! its lie 1cm off my face and that just makes my glasses fog up more often.

I bought one last week for my new lid (I made a post too actually).

I find it pretty good. Only annoying bit is when you take the lid off, it gets caught on the bridge of your nose. So you have to open the visor and grab the top of it.

I always get one when winter begins. I don't normally have problems with my visor steaming up but I get really bad chapped lips and the Foggy Mask helps in keeping the wind blast down.

Gets a recommendation from me, but as above be careful when taking it off as they do have a tendency to scratch your nose... Very Happy

I used to wear one around 7 or 8 years ago, and found the neoprene mask trapped moisture against my cheeks, chin and mouth. Sore/red/clammy skin was the result.

Just use a pinlock Razz

Pinlock gets my vote!

I've a clear one for in my tinted visor and for night time in my clear visor. It's a road legal one and I do get the top edge in my line of sight, but I've got used to it now.

I have a tinted race one for in my clear visor and that's better for vision, but my visor doesn't close quite tight, which is fine in good weather, but I think it may prove irritating in the cold.

I found it a pain in the arse, made the lid feel a bit claustrophobic and gave extra hassle when putting on and taking off the lid.

Whatever I did I always got a little jet of air blasting in my eye too,
