Have a look at the visitors bikes at NSR.com. You've pretty much got the set there. 0-60 isn't much different to the newer ones - just a bit slower. Prob around 5 - 6.5 secs depending on gearing?

btw. make sure you get one that can be fully derestricted... I've got any early Italian import NSR125F which seems to be only partially derestricted and I can't work out how to sort it out.

Hi

An early Italian import NSR125F should not be restricted (the bike certainly wasnt when new). If it is down on power then it either has an engine problem, or the people who imported it have found a cunning way to restrict it.

Cheapest way to restrict a bike is to put a spacer above the carb slide so the the carb cannot open fully (this is how Suzuki used to restrict the GP125). They could also have retarded the timing a long way, welded something in the exhaust, lowered compression (few extra base gaskets will do that), or maybe just disabled the power valve.

All the best

Keith
