Thinking of one of these in about a years time. Is that the 06, 07 or 08 model? All look the same but are different! How tall are you and what's the comfort like?

Its an 08 but its a pre-reg so on a 57 plate, saved myself a few quid Wink

im just under 6' and its a good riding position, although the seat is rock hard Laughing After a couple of hours its a pain in the arse Laughing

I thought I would find it a bit more cramped than the thundercat but it is good, its a bit taller than my cat thou and I can only just get both feet flat on the ground comfortably.

Cant comment on the preformance yet as Im running it in Mr. Green but I had a test ride on an 06 and that was like a cruise missle compared to the cat, the 08 is supposed to have better mids and has a new frame design although it does look the same Confused
The fairing at the front is slightly different from the 06 & 07 and the single seat covers dont fit the 08 so they have been done something around the back too !

I'm 6'1" so that's good to hear. I've heard it's quite a roomy riding position despite looking so small. At least the seat could be sorted with a gel insert, the riding position is a bit harder! Those riser bars may well work, but you've got to wonder what it's doing to the weight distribution.. tank slappers anyone?

Yeah the back has got narrower (don't bother taking pillions for any more than 10miles! Razz ). Engine is quite a lot better than the 06 model supposably though the bike as a whole has put on a couple of pounds in weight.

Yeah the tail tidy always makes a major difference, especially on these newer bikes that seem to have an electric pylon for a standard plate holder.

Get a can, you'll slobber everytime you start it up Thumbs Up Wink
