Hey

I've just recently brought this bike second hand, it's a derbi senda SM 125 2006. Brought it second hand with only 3400 miles on the clock for £500, guess the kid who i brought it off wasn't riding it much and needed to get rid of it.

Took it for a service and alls fine with the bike, just a few fuses blown.

Anyone have any advice as to keeping the bike running well, because i last done my cbt over 3 years ago i have to do it again before i can get on the roads so can't ride the bike much right now. Anyone have any advice ? I try and start it and keep it running every day, but sometimes because it hasn't been used it takes a while to start up or won't start.

Don't start it up if you're not riding it as it won't do the engine any good. Just leave it until you have done your CBT and then get out a give the engine a blast. Obviously after you have warmed it up.

I think you did well to get that for £500.

That's a really nice bike and a bleeding bargain for £500. Just a shame they're 4t unlike the 50cc version.

Very fun bikes for a 4t 125 I had one last year and it was great, watch out for the ignition relay, its under the right-back panel, I dropped the bike pushing it and crushed the relay. Sad
I don't have any good pictures of it really, sold it on ebay and the listing has been deleted.
Here's a picture of mine mate.

and a video of the very loud exhaust.
