Ok folks

So Ive booked me and the missus on flights to pisa in italy for the mugello gp. On the baggage bit I put only me having two bags to check in (36 quid), and none for leeanne. However I just read about a 15kg allowance per passenger! And each passenger can have up to three bags not totaling 15kg! So I have I stuffed up? Should I have clicked a bag each for me and leeanne which would allow 30kg!? I dont understand though because it would cost the same amount of money ie 18 quid each, but stating one each allows double the weight! WTF? help

thanks

I think ryanair charge for every bag. Your personal hold allowance is 15kg.
Yes you should have put in 1 bag each for double the weight. Can you not change the details online ?

BTW 30 kg is alot of clothes. 15kg should be more than enough for the weekend.

This is just a suggestion and may seem a bit odd.

Please excuse me if this seems like THE most stupid suggestion in the world.

Have you phoned ryanair?

The people who are pretty much going to be able to answer your question.

Ryannair sent my bag to frankfurt for the laugh and didnt give a shit ha ha. They want to encourage you just to take hand luggage (hence the extra charge) to speed up check in.

The mrs's bag also went to frankfurt for a romantic weekend with mine. Luckily shes a trolley dolly for ryannair and we actually got them back. Laughing

Have to agree with guvnor to an extent but having spoken to those arseholes on the phone in the past I have to have my doubts Wink

Well I did ring then they said only ring if your flying within the next 14 days which is why I thought Id ask here. Besides do you really think they are going to give me tips on how to get more baggage on board? Yeah erm, dont think so!

Guvnor yes it is the most stupid suggestion ever because for a start you didnt suggest anything. You asked me a question. If you needed help in the workshop section Id say, why dont you ring your nearest garage

Laughing

Think I will just bang in the majority into hand luggage Rolling Eyes
