Bike stolen over night from my garage, the hillarious thing is the house alarm covers the garage but it was off due to the high winds setting it off Crying or Very sad
From the North Nottinghamshire Mansfield/Sutton-in-Ashfield Area

Cunts broke in through a rear window and had the bike away through the garage door. With it being kept in a brick built alarmed garage i felt no need to insure it TPFT due too my age so that sucks Sad Im philisophical that aleast nobody was injured or anything. I was awake untill around half 4 as i couldnt sleep, i hard a little noise around 4 am so i guess that was it. You dont think to get out and look as you never expect your bike to be nickd i suppose, plus it was windy and raining so i put it down to that. I think had i confronted thim mid steal i would be in hospital right now considering the spades and pitchforks in the garage that they would have no doubt grabbed as they made good their escape. Bikes can be replaced, I was planning on selling it to fund a backpacking trip, guess not now Sad
I have little faith in the cops finding it. Keep your eyes peeled lads and help a brother out Sad
If you hear anything at all please please messageme or email me

Gutted for you!

Just a thought, are you sure it was the wind setting the alarm off on the garage? Common thing for pikeys is to set a car alarm off until the owner gets so fed up with it going off he/she disarms it then they are away with the car.

Harsh, fucking scumbags.
You checked round your neighbourhood to see if they've got bored of it and dumped it nearby?
It's a long shot, but it kept me occupied for a few days after my bike got stolen :p

Just got off phone with police, they found it in a house near by whilst searching it for something else. Apparently still in good nick jsut numberplate removed so looks like they were going to try ringing it and fencing it on!
given my local plod its nothing short of a miracle!

Still expect to be stung with recovery charges and all the bloody rest of it now. but Better than having it pinched i suppose!

Pleased for ya mate, it's alwasy good when these have a happy ending, unfortunatly it's rare that they do. Can't you tell the plod to leave it where it is and you will pick it up? Fuck giving them £200ish to do their fucking job.

funny you should say that sickpup,

I would probably be a little more pissed off and then overjoyed if my bike had been knicked and found undamaged.

Dan you are either the most laid back bike theft victim ive ever seen post or you couldnt be bothered with it in the first place , I mean, the insurance payout would have covered your trip anyway, I am presuming the bandit wasnt yours or did they just steal the one bike Confused

He's already said he's only TPO, and where did the idea of a Bandit come from?

Well just back from giving a statement, cant say its undamaged yet, its a different force to the one i work in so the information isnt as forthcoming as it could be. They have recovered it for fingerprinting and stuff but im pushing to get i back ASAP so i dont get screwed for storage charges.

I could be wide of the mark here sickpup but my guess is your implying that the fact im a bobby made the police find my bike maybe? I can tell you now i had no hope of it ever being found, im not a member of any funny handshake clubs and as of yesterday afternoon the investigation into it was concluded as going nowhere. Its only since they arrested a guy for drugs and went and searched his house and the bike was there that it has been found so its pure dumb luck.
Yes i was quite laid back about it, I could have gotten irate and angry and super mad but it wouldnt have solved anything, they had taken my bike but i was dammed if they were gonna take my time and cool too!

Oh and yeah they left the Bandit alone they didnt take anything apart from my bike.

Just wait for the Criminal Protection Service to let the off now Rolling Eyes

im sure that will happen Danny, unless of course there was a witness Rolling Eyes

police had dna, one cut crim and 2 recovered wagons that had been stolen from our yard in Hucknall, they were then informed the CPS werent taking it any further as there were no witnesses.
Now as an officer i am sure that you will confirm that the fact they accidentally left the full details of the criminal in full view of my then boss, was indeed an oversight on their half Laughing Laughing Laughing
