Hey,
Well after a year out of having a relationship i've finnally found an amazing woman. There i was dancing away in a club and bumped into her, had a dance, kissed a bit and she gave me her number!

Text her the following day and arranged to see her. I took her for a meal and then we went to the cinema. We hit it off instantly. Left the cinema holding hands.

Text her later on in the week about meeting up again. This time we went ice skating and then back to her place for a DVD. Was yet again another amazing day and we got on so well.

Anyway thats the background to it. The problem is i can't stop worrying about losing her. I know its only been a couple of weeks but she really is amazing. My ex gf did me alot of emotional damage when she broke up with me and left me basically as an empty shell.
I keep worrying about silly things like how often i should text her, how often i should see her etc. I've never felt like this about my other relationships!

Other thing thats bothering me is she never actually arranges anything with me. I always do the asking if she wants to do ought. Im not sure if this is the norm? She always agrees and always seems enthusiastic and we always have a good time. I just dont wanna seem pushy.

Anyway thats my rant over. I think i i maybe going crazy Confused

Shaun.

hey dude Smile

First of all, Talk to her. Ask about different interests and also ask things such as how often you'd like to see her. Don't just sit there asking all questions at once as she may feel uncomfortable. If she replies back to your texts then don't worry about things is natural to text people your seeing/dating. Also, As for her not asking you to go places.. Is she the type of girl who likes small surprises or something? Or maybe she is shy in case you turn her down.

She may feel exactly the same as you buddy. She just not express things as much Smile

Sit down and have a nice talk about different thing.

Good Luck Bro Smile

Shane

Reminds me of a Black Eyed Peas track:

"The Ladies in the disco-club aint the ones to be fallin in lurrve wit'".

Still, I'd say you can worry too much. If you play it relaxed and stuff and she doesn't hang around then it wasn't meant to be.

If you're too pushy and she doesn't hang around then it could be that you were too pushy. Or it could be that it wasn't meant to be.

If I were you I'd stop analyzing and start enjoying. Karma

Good luck!

Just be yourself. Don't be paranoid about texting her. If she wants to chat to you she will text your first and if ylu want to chat to her you text her first.

Could you imagine a girl saying it's over, you ask why and she says 'You don't send the first text' Laughing

Just go with the flow. If everytime you go out you have an amazing time you must be doing something right.

enjoy it. If it doesnt last, nevermind. If it does, great Smile

If you stress rather than enjoy it, it will be less fun for her. So if you dont stress its more likely to last.

It's only been 3 weeks, let the good times roll and if she is the one it will just happen. Stop trying to direct where you want it to go, you are in the honeymoon stage, you could find in the end she annoys you.

Yeah, what Jon said.

My god, 3 weeks? You should still be having fun man!

I understand in your case because of previous stuff.

But if you think like you are thinking now, forever...yeah, you might not get hurt as such, but when you look back it will hurt more than a short relationship going tits up ever could.

So get your arse in gear and fucking enjoy this! She obviously likes you, so just have a fucking awesome time.

Thats what getting together is about! You dont get with someone because of some stupid reason that doesnt even matter. You get together because together, things are ace and you both fucking enjoy each other.

So get laughing, porking, and more laughing, my friend. Thumbs Up

Just stop worrying about what "could" happen and start enjoying what is happening. Your ex has left you insecure and it happens to a lot of us, fear of loosing someone we enjoy being with. Probably havnt figured out how your last relationship ended thats why your stuck wondering if its going to happen again.

It dosnt matter how long ago your last ex was you will feel like this entering a new relationship despite the time scale.

Go with the flow, Enjoy this time. Sadly the honeymoon period dosnt last forever. Be a shame to spend it worrying.
