I think who ever pays for said sky does not get to view it, like myself.

Mr dragonfly has it permanently on discovery, myth busters and some fisherman bull crap that bores me to death.

I dont apparently have any of the other packages which is the lot except movies I paid for. I dont have the one that can be recorded and dont get to watch the repeat of Eastenders.

Maybe retro you could come and switch places as soaps are banned from this house unless himself if out or asleep, and even when he is asleep he moans about soaps AGAIN!

Dont try hiding the remote as there is a Manuel switch over that homes into programs like American chopper or in your case coronation street.

Good luck Thumbs Up

PS 9/10 for rant made me laugh Laughing

Dragonfly, get Multiroom.

There is nothing wrong with fisherman programmes either. Razz

I usually watch endless repeats of Family Fortunes to be honest, football or Harry Hills TV burp.

I like family fortunes and fawlty towers too Embarassed And distraction, scrubs, family guy and more embarassing sluts.. I mean girls of the play boy mansion Embarassed But its over taken by dog the bounty hunter, the mysteries of the turtle and the deep sea myths, bloody myth busters! that man with the beret and ginger hair annoys me and basically all the cast of American Chopper I am sick off.

I do watch the crime channel and some discovery. There was something on about crystal meth that was interesting last night, forensics is good. Lots of Egyptian stuff on the history channel to. If i ever get to flick about them between myth busters which seems to be on for a whole day.

I want a paranormal channel.

And this made me have a word with him about the hogging and apparently I am allowed to watch whatever now, So I am out of here!

I wonder was he being sarcastic Confused

Yeah he had the cheek to try and turn off Eastenders! Shocked Laughing

Basically Drew his sky box was broken because it wont record soaps, he was disgruntled by this and his girlfriends hogging of the sky tv. I suspect she may have seen this thread and created an Eastenders like dramatic script and had a domestic. I do hope he is ok, I do feel for him as last night I did fight to watch Tanya killing Max off in Eastenders Confused

Deadliest catch thats what its called! Laughing

The cop programs on bravo and zone done my head in so I went and got the whole package just so there was something else to watch and they are still being watched! Twisted Evil I used to like these but enough was enough! and dog the bounty hunter is banned!

This excludes Amsterdam Nights, which is ok if its not again a repeat.

Really all there is is repeats on sky Neutral

No Rob he meant his wife would not record soaps to let him watch other things it was always his programs that had to be recorded and he had to stay up late to watch his programs.

Hmm as the original post is gone i dont know what this is all about.
But i have the full sky package, and im planning on getting rid as soon as the 12mths contract is up.
The repeats are sooooo head doing,it's like every week they repeat the same old crap over and over.

Now i use online sites like movieforumz which has pretty much everything you wanna see,or if not get it from a torrent.

I have a half decent 8mg net connection,so i can get pretty much any film i awanna watch within 30 minutes.
I really would not advise anyone to waste there money on sky.
The son LOVES ben 10,but for months on end they have been playing the same episodes all the time.
Theres also stuff like veohtv which is basically sky when you want it,which can be paused, rewinded e.t.c. just like sky+ and doesnt cost a penny..

They're practically giving the Sky+ boxes away to existing Sky customers here, got to be worth a phone call to see how much to upgrade.

Cool, Will give them a call! They said last time it was £99 for a new box and I dont replace things until they break Laughing Plus I have no phone line so I am afraid of them cutting me off. They didnt when they resent signal down when I took over dads contract when he lived here. Said I didnt even need a phone line, only for watching movies. Will say its faulty or something if they ask.

I think they need a phone line to do the initial setup.

After mine was setup I disconnected i from the phone line and haven't had any problem.

Ordered my multi room and sky+ a couple of weeks ago, its getting fitted next week.
Don't have a phone line in any of the rooms, got rid of the original years ago, had Sky for years and never used / ordered anything through it.

Will it depend on the engineer if he needs one or not ? I can run through an extension if he needs it and get rid as soon as he leaves.
