I want to build it myself, i have a reasonable knowledge of putting things together, and i have the tools and somewhere to do it.
Has anyone had anything to do with building these, or can you point me in the right direction as to where i can get some indepth info?

I suspect that some bikes are better donors than others and some are more aesthetically pleasing, some are more practical...
The ethos of a bobber is light and fast with little or no waste? What makes a bobber, its really up to you I suppose like any chopper or custom bike.
On a completely whoring note, I often look at the Monkey and think that the tank would make an excellent peanut style tank for a bike like a bobber or small custom.
