Fitted an acewell this weekend not massively impressed by it but it's hell of lot lighter and smaller. The rev counter never seems to be perfect but good enough. Guy on the phone gave me a very good price after a chat so can't complain.

Also got controlable cdi and powervalve unit. Proving a bugger to setup and really need some dyno time to get it right. It's easy to use just plug in this computer and type in what you need. Already gaining from the powervalve controller as the valve is now a true 100% open at the open position.

Hmmm are you gonna knock up some sort of surround for the Acewell? Looks incredibly naked if you ask me...

ur doing a grand job by the looks, but surely having the powervalve 100% open would do the engine no good. Plus increase in oil and fuel? Plus you gotta be real easy on the throttle.

No, no. I think you have the wrong idea. You can set the powervalve's open and closed position through the controller.
Then you can set what percent it should open at what rpm. So you can have a real aggressive powervalve and open 100% at say 8000rpm or 25% at 5500, 50% at 7000rpm etc. Thumbs Up

No surround for the clocks. Light as possible my friend.

I have one, I will see if I can dig out the details of where I got it from. It may have been a Koso unit, but I am not sure. It is a nice small unit though.
