well there should be markings on the swining arm but there not that accurate.
My usual thing is on a pull type adjuster get a ruler and measure the thread visible on the adjuster bolt, or on a push type adjuster measure the siwinging arm visible from the spindal spacer (like on r1's) to the end of the swining arm.
Think cg's use a adjuster that is cut via a square whole in the swinging arm?? is so just try and measure it from the same 2 points either side. ____________________ Bikes owned :- 2001 nsr125, 1999 zx6r, 2006 yzf-r1, 2009 xmax 250, 2012 yzf-r1, 2015 MT-07

cheers guys,got a couple of ideas might even try both just to make sure. if anyones got any more ways of doing it then keep em comming.  ____________________ old people are like slinkys.........there not much use but they make you smile when you push em down the stairs!!!!!!!!

use the notches on the swingarm, theyre accurate to the spindle, so the only way your wheel will be out of line is if its buckled, in which case no ammount of waving spirit levels around will make it straight.
