Hi,

Anyone have experience with Lidl textiles, specifically the trousers?
Looks for decent textile trousers for the other half to wear on the bike and the Lidl stuff doesnt look to bad for £50.

Any opinions?
Thanks!

Have no experience of them,

Spada Flage Trousers though are excellent, they go for around 35 quid:

They are totally waterproof, give you all the warmth you would need, and i have crash tested them Laughing and they hold up in a spill, the knee armor is a plus...

The Lidl deals were on Thursday and tomorrow they have powertools so it looks like you have missed out.

Don't worry though as Aldi are bringing out their range of biker clothes tomorrow and it's slightly cheaper, so head down to Aldi as soon as they open and you should be able to get something for your other half Thumbs Up

I brought myself some Aldi textile trousers and I can vouch that they're super comtfy and warm. They look pretty sturdy too, its a shame about the lack of hip protectors but for £30 you can't complain.

One of my mates recently got taken out by a car commuting to work which resulted in him sliding down the road. He had a pair of Lidl textiles and they held up very well. And despite him gaining some fairly serious bruising to his hip joint the trousers didn't come apart.

So I took that as a fairly good endorsement of the build quality, and I know he's just gone and bought another pair in this recent sale.

I had the lidl trousers, I have had them for 3 years now, and I have just replaced them, they where ok not brilliant. They started to let water in about 6 months ago in heavy rain, and the armour is irritating and moves about.

M&P are having a sale ATM and I have ordered some trousers that are about 70% off and paid £25 for them. I think they are made by swift. I'll let you know how good they are.

I have had Lidl trousers and jacket for over a year. They have kept out driving rain for six hours, they are great in the sun and do not leave you sweaty, the built in armour in the elbows saved me a broken arm. I have been greenlaning in them and the mud washes off fine.
However they do not have a Label like " Alpenstar" so they must be shyt.
