Of any weight division and any era. Lets keep it to a maximum of 5 and if you want, say why you have chosen them. Also lets keep it to professional boxers,but if you wish you can mention there amateur careers. Ill start. It doesnt have to be 5 selections,it can be one if you wish.

1. Rocky Marciano,1950s - Good defence stamina and remained unbeaten in his professional career,good man,sadly died in a plane crash. (49 wins-0 losses-43 ko's).

2. Mike Tyson,1980s - Unmatched explosiveness,good body movement and was quick,lost it all some how (don king Middle Finger

) (50 wins-6 losses-44 ko's-2 no contests)

3. Roy Jones Jr,1990s - Good ring smart,very 'flash',quick and had power to boot,unified many weight divisions also (52 wins-4 losses-38 ko's)

4. Ricky Hatton,mid 1990s - Good in fighter,packs a wack,also quick and could take a beating,has a tendency to cut though. (43 wins-1 loss-32 ko's)

5. Joe Calzaghe,1990's - A clever boxer,quick,questionable power,good stamina,his downfall is he has bad hands that can lead him to a disadvantage,he didnt really get 'noticed' until he demolished the so called 'white tyson' Jeff Lacey. I think he landed something like a 1001 punches in that fight?

There,thats my top 5 from the top of my head,remember this is my opinion,and im well aware others may differ,feel free to debate. Mr. Green

1. Muhammad Ali (Enough said)

2. Ray Robinson (Had over 100 fights dident he...)

3. Mike Tyson (More of a fighter than a boxer mind)

4. Joe Frazier (For the big punches)

5. George Foreman (he knocked out Joe frazier and makes a really good lean mean grilling machine)

I don't think there is anyone better than tyson was in his prime.

I honestly dont think there is one boxer past or present who would have beaten tyson at his very best.

Awesome power, and can take a fair old whack as well.

Aye his life outside the ring was a complete gang fuck but what do we have now to compare to tyson in the heavyweight class?

He should never have had to humiliate himself for money fighting Danny Williams, the video is on you tube and the look on his face at the end when he has been plonked on his arse says it all.

Completely humiliated and I couldn't help feeling a bit sorry for him in an odd way.

The man was taken for a ride throughout his career and led in all the wrong directions.

It is a damn shame for him that he was not as strong mentally as he was physically.

I think 'Cus dying had a lot to do with Tysons spiraling career. Someone mentioned he was a fighter not a boxer,i beg to differ. All the boxing skills were blatantly there,movement as i said,speed,power,tecqnique..he was the whole package really if you think about it. The defeat to Danny Williams..what a joke. Crying or Very sad

Tyson had it all and lost it all,big shame. I can think of a few boxers who would give Tyson a run for his money providing both were in there prime. Thumbs Up
