What does it involve to de-restrict the bike? Is it a big and expensive job? Only i passed my test about 13 years ago, and initially was planning on buying a 2 stroke like an RD350 or NS400R etc, but i love the look of your goose...........in fact i nearly put my name down for one at the ally pally when they were first shown before their launch.

If its not too big a job to de-restrict them i could well be interested!
Cheers

The goose isn't physically restricted, its just that as standard the goose is within the 33hp power restriction.

Ropehead, with your can and such like is the goose still below 33hp? Have you had it on a dyno at all?

Its 33bhp (full power) no restrictor kit fitted.

If i cared about stuff like that i would not have a race system on a single. so it might be slightly over but i have nit had it on the DYno so i cant say Rolling Eyes .

You could always be boring and put the orignal exhaust back on.

Brought the goose,
After 140miles on the motorway in the rain and winds, still enjoyed riding it!

But jesus chris Si, did you take the baffles out the damn bike!
The thing shatters windows!

I took it to bridgenorth cafe today, where the amount of looks i got was unbelievable.
All down to the sound of the bike.

It was alot louder than a zxr750, with a non leagal can.

But i loves it!
So Middle Finger Mr. Green Middle Finger to quite cans...

I found that out today.
But there is this evil sensation about riding up and down car parks vastly reving the engine so it sets them off.
A little twisted... oh yes i am.

I will give you a call next time i go to the cafe. I love the roads round their you see.
And i need someone that takes corners quicker than laura.

By the way ropey, the bike handles so well its unbelivabley easy to take corners.
Impresed i am.

Dodd have you changed your number?

hi dudes, im seriously wanting a goose and i dont want a high level can cos i want to keep the rear hangers to let me give girls lifts and stuff (otherwise whats the point lol) but is it only that loud with the zortek can on it? I saw a pic with a fuckoff huge micron blue can on but i think it probably lowered power cos i think it was nicked off an R1 but does the normal exhaust make life that difficult for people with car alarms etc... cos that would be fucking ace!

Ps im a regular on 125ccsportsbike forums but thought i might crss over, would make more sense since i sold my 50 and im going striaght to a decent engine size ish. Anyway many thanks ropehead if you could get back to me.
