Whats the tea anyone about?

It was cheap and a good challange to get it backup and running etc. I have asked the questions about first bike etc and I came to the concluslion the bike will only go as fast as I want it to go.

Do you think it will be too much?

Cheers

The GSXF's have the nickname teapot. Laughing

Was just interested why a GSXF over anything else, I think it'll be great once you get it sorted. Thumbs Up

You learn something new everyday! lol

It's looking a lot better than it did when I first picked it up.

It now has nice shiny oil and new plugs and air filter etc, it seems to run sweet but pops now and again but knowing nothing about engines I have put it down to the air filter not being connected fully.

Cheers for your comments.

The main reason why I got this I guess was it was two mins from my house and a bargain at £250.

Cheers,
Si

I would dispute the description "excellent bike" after the trouble my mate had with his, but they are very good value.

Seemingly alone I actually don't mind the way these look. At least it's not a 'custom' bike is the way I look at it.

Good luck with the restoration.

Sorry couldn't resist...

Don't worry about all the flack you get about this bike, it's yours so go out and enjoy it! I've heard a lot of good stuff about the GSXF's if you can look past the plastics Thumbs Up

I've had my teapot for about 2 years now. Sometimes I think its pig ugly all depends from which angle you look at them from. When you're riding it you don't notice it.
PS I did tighten the chain!!
