NC24 (vs. NC30 etc..)

Friend of a friend has an NC24 up for sale at entirely the right price at the right time...

Just curious, besides cosmetic differences - the right exit zorst, the slightly different fairings and so on - are there any other differences between the two bikes?

Also to those who've owned them, what're your opinions of them?

The NC30 is everything the NC24 should have been, pretty much sums it up.

The NC24 is a worthy enough bike, was pretty trick for its time. It's altogether less "modern" than the '30 (Skinny rims etc), and they are getting on in years now. The engine looks simillar to the NC30 and the performance is about the same (128.5 mph). Horses for courses but I wouldn't pay much for one unless it's mint and standard.

To put it simply, the NC24 is rubbish, the NC30 is great. You haven't said how much it is, but it'd have to be extremely cheap to warrant buying it, otherwise you're better off spending more for an NC30.

You wouldn't find many parts knocking out for the nc 24 either although some is interchangeable things like lights and fairing will be a bitch to get.
