I have someone out bidding at the mo, so I as usual will wait till the last few secs and hope my stupid internet dosnt time out when I am last minute bidding. Have lost bid other day by 2 mins when I missed the end and it wasnt even sold! same item this time. It is annoying though but I never actually lost a bid, yet.

I just decide beforehand what my absolute limit is and then place a bid of that limit about 20 secs before the auction ends.

I'll never understand why people make several small bids then complain when they don't win the item and would have paid more!? Rolling Eyes

If I want to bid on something I decide what I would want to pay and then put it on watch. Towards the end of the auction maybe the last day and it's still in my price range I'll place a bid.

What really annoys me is the people who place a bid with a few minutes to go, usually too low, then proceed to up their bid by £10 every few seconds until they are the winning bidder.

I suppose I take some satisfaction in that they would of paid a lot more for the item than their first bid.
