Just saw these on 125sportsbike.com (Was googling for what what my stock rear sprocket size is and found the site)

Now i've seen peoples attempts to mod this bike before and thought they were all horrendous, but these look properly done to me! Would keep space in the garden for one Smile

The 2nd one looks a bit dodgy... No fairings makes it look even smaller than standard! The 3rd one appears to have the swingarm from a VFR Shocked

Oh ofcourse i noticed that too Smile i's the same front fairing as the one in the top pic. It's a CBR150 nose fairing, with the mirrors removed. Looks damn snazzy if you ask me Smile

Dunno what honda were thinking when they made a CBR150. No market for it! They should of made a new version of the CBR250, preferably a 4cyl, like the old one Smile If they could make it go like the old one, i'd buy one!

The bike in the first pic looks nicely done, and it's a pity there's no pic of the red bike next to the one in the last pic as that looks tidy too.

Different site, but it appears they race CBR125s too:

Apparently cbr150 are big in the middle east or Asia well i don't really know where but somewhere as they have different licensing laws.

I think the streetfightered one is the best, them mirrors look a bit of alright, doubt you can see anything like.

hmmm not sure about that single swinger being from a vfr as its belt driven Shocked

they are very good efforts but 2 strokes look better for less effort.

For the far east where they are made where there is a major market for them rather than 125s. The CBR125 is a slieved down CBR125 with a cheap 2V head on it.

Not sure about the first one with a single sided arm. Suspect it might be an old Aprilia AF1 50 swinging arm and wheel. However the last one might well be a Gilera CX125 (looks like that is what inspired the front suspension).

All the best

Keith

Bet that goes well fast with RVF swing arm and forks on! Laughing

The twin disks and Forks alone probably out weigh the entire bike!

Quite cool mods though, and well done at that.

I wonder if any engine tuning has been done though.

there is a few cbr150's kicking about nz as well, my friend had one before she got here full licence, and it was just as slow as you would imagine, but still faster than the 125.
they do about 160kmh on the clocks (100mph) probably a realistic 80mph.

still gay as you like Mr. Green

The frame is the same, the tank is almost the same, and the engine appears to be the same, just with a belt drive mod.

Although there appears to be TWO downpipes on the front of the motor Shocked

Confused

I presume you mean the CBR125 is a sleeved down 150 lump.
