Me and a mate who has a 50cc twist 'n' go wer just turning out of a car park yesterday when a mercedes driver pulls in on completely the wrong side of the white lines painted on the road (you know the ones your not meant to go across Rolling Eyes ). Clipped my mates scooter, making a fair sized ding in the scooter. He saw it and completely ignored it, and then went and parked up 10 feet away!.

Me and said mate went up to this bloke, and said what the hell do you think your doing?

He said "Not my problem mate".

Cue me having a massive argument about how he was in the wrong etc.

What I didn't notice until I was told later was that as I was doing this, my mate was pretending to check his scoot whilst ever so slowly letting this blokes tyres down.

When we got back and he told me I absolutley pissed myself lol.

Well we got his numberplate, but I dunno, I don't beleive in grassing people up no matter how much of twat they are. God knows people could have reported me for numerous things I've done (non-road related) and I would have been right in the shit.

Oh well, it's my mates scoot, it's in his hands...

Would he still be able to report him after letting his tyres down?

The bloke didn't see it was us.

So say you were driving along with your mate within the speed limit and someone pulls out on you causing to crash and brake your leg's! Are you still not going to grass him up! Just let his tyres down......

Its a crappy car park man Laughing

I never forget a woman let a man out and left a gap big enough for me, as I went to get into it the woman who just let the bloke out rear ended him instead of letting me in, oh how I laughed.

True that.

Also Morrisons and that crappy mini roundabout.

No one ever knows whats going on at that.

I must admit as well the cross got a bit lame when they fitted lights that close to the roundabout, it doesn't half cause some back ups.

I dont think its right to let the merc driver get away with it but without independant witnesses, Im not sure what you can do, other than you could have maybe keyed his car after he had left rather than just letting down his tyres.

If you got the registration plate, then you can find out the details from the dvla for 2.50 ( I think its 2.50) for any valid reason. Clearly you picked up his registration plate and would like to contact him.

Then go to B+Q/Homebase/refinish joint, buy the most effective looking paint stripper, and some mastic. Pour said paint stripper everywhere all over car, then mastic up the locks.

Although I don't think this is quite a big enough offence to merit that.

Cool

I wouldn't keep that in your leathers. You get unlucky and the guy that you meant to use it on will be the guy that knocks you off your bike, and that sharp metal thing in your pocket ruptures a kidney or something.

Carry it under your seat/in your tank bag by all means, but I've heard all sorts of stories of people carrying hard/pointy stuff while riding and not coming off too well for it.
