Which zx6 ?

ok boys here's the deal. I went with a mate this arvo to buy a bike for his missus who is pregnant but she will get this as a gift when she pops the bub .

Anywho wandering around all those bikes I've pretty much come to the decision that it may be time to upgrade.
By that I mean newer rather than bigger.
My 99zx6r has seen better days and any proceeds from it's sale will go towards the new bike.

They had a 03 636 there with a leo vince pipe. oggies, fender eliminator and 13 odd thou on the clock for 10,500.

Glad I didn't do anything rash because I got home and started to check out some local private sellers before making a decision.

Here is what I've found and am considering viewing etc to possible purchase.

1. 03 model for near 2grand ( 8300) less but all standard in black.

Since I've never been a massive fan of the 03/04 styling I spotted

2. 06 standard except for tinted screen for 500 bucks (9999) less but with 25000 on the clock.

I also much prefer the swing arm, rear section and general appearance of them over the 03s.

3. 04 standard at same as the original one found but standard and in blue.
Guy states that its a "limited edition race spec" which I have never heard.

4. of course this option says go the dealer get 6 months warranty with it and the few extra goodies that go with it.


That pretty much says it all really. Just looking for advice on who likes what and why.
Also anything better or worse on various models stated.

So vote away boys and girls and fill me with your knowledge.

I think the 3rd option is the 599CC version, although i heard they came with black frames? The black frame could be bull shit though.

Notice it says NINJA instead of 636 on the side. Make sure you get a 636, you wouldn think its that much more than a 599, but you'd be wrong!
