Where is everyone heading this summer.
I am going to the Czech republic via France, Belgium, Holland and Germany touring the Czech Republic hitting Poland along the way.
Staying a couple of days resting in Cesky Krumlov before returning home.
I am going on the 9th Sept 6 days out 2 rest days and 3 returning home on the 19th.

That sounds like a good trip. I'm doing my first Euro tour in June. I'm planning France/Spain (To See Catalunya MotoGP) down to Gibraltar and back up. I've planned it as a two weeker.

I'm already thinking of doing Eastern Europe next year! Think I'll see how this year's trip pans out first tho!

I'm going to try something a bit different this year, a one-way trip to Nice on a bicycle, then fly back. Thought I may as well have a crack at it while I'm fit.

Apart from that I may be tempted by a week in Spain towards the end of summer.

A solo run through Germany, Austria and possibly Switzerland in June for a couple of weeks. Intending to camp mostly with the odd night under slate here and there.

I am looking forward to it and bricking it in equal measure. Read through Itchy's soo tour thread a few times and this instills some confidence!

I've thought about cycling to Aberystwyth from Dudley. I reckon I can do about 30 miles a day. As I once did 30 miles in a day (nearly killed me). I doubt I'll ever do it though.

So I respect your more ambitious plans. Im sure you'll do it too.

I seem to remember you having a plan of living and working in Nice at some point. Are these plans related at all ?

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm not dead-sure we'll be able to do the Alps (my motorbike struggled on some of those) but can always divert down the Ardeche valley if it's far too hard.

I do like that part of the world, but it's not really related. Just convenient there's cheap flights from Nice to London.
