i would really like to meet the fucktard who designed the bike.
who decieded to put the front spark plug behind the rad, makeing you take off the whole front fairings and radiator to change just 1 fucking plug. Also the idiot that decided to cut the tubes for the airbox to the exact length meaning you cant put the fucking airbox on after conecting the most inaccessable tubes known to man.
And to the fucktard who rounded off the screw that controlls the fuel/air mixture on the front carb, makeing it impossible to change the idle, you are a fucking wanker and i hope a bear rapes you in the night.
Im now scared im going to blow up another engine wheelieing.

So on that note who wants to buy my bike? Laughing

Take it to a dealership and have someone mechanically apt do the job. Ive never had any problems. Piece of piss to work on, in fact, one of the easiest bikes ever made to work on

Clearly more than you, if you think that a mixture screw controls the idle.

Way to go to unbalance your carbs, doofus.

you sure you have the right screw?

on the left hand side of the bike in one of the triangle shapes in the chassis and adjust. Turn clockwise to raise the idle speed and anti-clockwise to lower it Go in small movements and blip the throttle after each adjustment and allow it to settle before trusting what the rev counter says!

Clearly more than you.

You dont seem to be able to comprehend how to look after a bike, or ride one.

You have issue's with a massively selling bike, which I know other people who own such and haven't had any trouble, you decide to criticise the designer? Maybe when you get something new(assuming you do move on, please dont) check out it's niggles first so you know how to blow the engine up, or how not to ride it. Then do the opposite. Any luck you'll both be trouble and problem free. Thumbs Up

Spookeh N30, I was about to post the same photo. Cool

What I'd like to know it why the all-knowing, all-seeing half_lyfe didn't bother changing his plugs before he swapped his engines over.

just a thought, mind.

lols.

It may also be worth pointing out to the concerned party that running a v-twin with unbalanced carbs is an ideal way to ruin your bottom end.

well done dip shit i know where the idle screw is. it was already turned all the way out. the fact that 2 were mechanics were working along side me may be a bit of a hint that i know more about bikes than most of the people here.
i can go into detail about why we wre fiddling with the carbs but that wasnt the point.

yes i did change the plugs when i changed the engine over Rolling Eyes

"HEER YEE HEER YEE, Gather round, All you mere mortals need to bow dat azz down, coz if you've never seen half_life do his thing on a motorcycle, then you've never seen a cracka on a motorcycle do his THANG"

Just an observation, dident you change the engines round a matter of weeks ago? why would you need to change the plugs already?

they were sooty, someone has fucked around with the carbs, one of the hoses have perished that controlls the fuel air mixture on the front carb, so to compensate the massive amount of air being sucked in someone decided to turn the screw that controlls the fuel all the way in, meaning you cant change the idle speed, its being fixed on monday...

im not caiming im a rideing God or that i know everything about bikes. but at the same time i know a fair bit and am not a newb...

Is that the reason you ran your bike on no oil and fucked it then?

Does Someone = you by any chance, I mean i saw some chavs sitting on a scooter when i came out of tesco's earlier today, it clearly wasent theirs, but i dont imagine them or many people for that matter randomly go up to bikes and alter the fuel/air mixture for a bit of a laugh... or do they?
