A few times when getting caught by a red light, or at the back of some pretty thick traffic, I find myself singing the most catchy song that comes the mind, loudly... and on numerous occasions I've been known to sing "there she was just walking down the street" then look to a fellow biker expecting a response, awkward silence, then me continuing "doo wa diddy, diddy dum diddy do". Am I the only biker down for a little sing song when the traffic is thick? Laughing

I'm always singing when I'm on a bike.

On my bike test I had the examiner doubled over in fits of laughter during my turn in the road exercise. I was singing "Get yourself to the butterfly lounge, find yourself a big laaayydaaayyy" at the top of my lungs. It'd been the last song on in the test centre before I left! Laughing

I often 'fidget' but then, it's natural*.

*also, as a O/T note..... people who fidget are proven to lose more weight than people who don't. Or just not gain as much. Smile

I do sing when I've got music playing, and I forget sometimes that people can hear me outside my helmet, so I get some funny looks at times Laughing.

Then again I've been known to shout at traffic lights so..

I can now blame my parents for being on the large side of large as they always told me off for fidgeting.

If your mouth moves enough to sing your hat is too loose.

Even I hate my singing and so I whistle.

It's fine at traffic lights but it's bloody difficult to whistle at speeds over about 60mph Shocked

I dance along if I'm singing, can't do either well though, but you should see the look on some peoples faces, I just look at them and shrug then ride off... Thumbs Up

Me²

Now I've got music on the Zumo I often find myself tapping along on the clutch lever when waiting at lights - or waggling my head around. My current batch of music has a lot of orchestral music with sweeping chords etc., which is quite soothing in traffic. Can't sing to it though (although I might hum a bit) Smile

Can't sing to it, but you CAN do the whole conductor thing and wave your hand about like Leonard Bernstein! Along with revving synchronised to the music.

Guilty as charged.

I usually sing the first song that I hear the radio that morning or seen on MTV.

Do any of you try and synchronise your indicators with the car in front ( sometimes I actually stay in line rather than filter to the front)

I sing the "I'm not really that cold" song when I am really cold. The lyrics change each time . . . it never works either!

Glad I'm not the only one. I sing/whistle/mutter/talk to myself all the time when I'm on my bike (or in the car for that matter).

At the traffic lights I:

Sing.
Drum on the tank.
Dance.
Dry hump the tank.
Slap the tank while humping it.
Stare at people through the tinted visor.
Rev the throttle while staring at cars.
Get off the bike and adjust the crotch.

If I am with mates I:

Talk to them.
Nudge/bump their back wheel constantly until they do something.
Hit their killswitch or turn off their bike with the keys.
Steal their keys as the lights are just about to go green (thats a hard one).
If I am infront of them I rev the bike and back fire it so I cover them in black smoke and bitties.
Do a little burnout and cover them in rubber bits.
Hesitate at a green light and hold traffic up and wind them up to.
