https://www.tpuc.org/

This guy is attracting the attention of the 'the city' and a group of solicitors and constitutional lawyers.

"This man is in our minds worth one hundred intellectual and constitutional experts with his determination and courage, this is the kind of courage it is going to take" ....."Johns action is fully legal and this can be proven by reading article 61 itself" - A constitutional expert.

It's interesting. I give you that.

However what is it really going to achieve?

The way I am interpretting it, is that if the population followed uit, we would effectively be an anarchic state? Or is this simply a bill to stop him having to abide by the laws of the current government, or the Queen and parliament?

I disagree Cestrian,

what we need is THIS sort of courage, 5th June 1989, his actions helped change the world

https://www.wgmd.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/tiananmen_tank_man_1.jpg

Anybody think one of the following will happen to him:?

Convient car crash,
victim of a 'random' mugging that went wrong
He suddenly felt really depressed and went for a walk and suicided

I dunno ... I kinda like that he's made his own stand against beaurocratic stuff, though.

Obviously a different sort of protest to the Tiananmen Sq geezer, not physically courageous, but still a stand against The Man, I suppose.

Tempted to try it meself Laughing
Might wait till 1 May, see what his outcome is, tho.

I wonder how many reading this are thinking "Yeah fair comment Itchy, but I don't see you marching on parliament, standing up for your rights".
I wonder how many are thinking "Yeah I remember that guy in Tiananmen square, his actions helped changed the world.......didn't they? "

If I didn't know there is a team of law bods behind him, donating their time and efforts free of charge, I'd call him a nut.

Is what the government want you to think and act, thus the reason why we only moan and do nothing about such things.

the anti war protests were a big example of this, but they did it all wrong , it 1-1.2 million people in London got violent , history may have been very different as poll tax protests were fewer in number but they were violent. Imagine if 1.2 million people approached london with nooses to hang MPs...

I've often thought Ghandi wrong in that non violence doesn't work violence works much better , though it does not have to be from the protestors it can be the government gestapo types dishing out the violence. Ie Tiamen Sq , where troops murdered 1000s of people and was the turning point of communist socialism to communist capitalism.

Hmmm, good point, I have seen similarly nutty one-man campaigns in the past ... indeed, I often contemplate them myself, and I'm sure I am almost certifiable at times LOL ... but what has caused them to donate their time and effort free of charge?

The prospect of media coverage for themselves, or a genuine interest in seeing how it affects the law?

A legal precedent? Should he be successful, how many would try the same before the one-eyed porridgewog made it illegal?

And how many would challenge that law?

Anything that rattles those trough-pigging criminal scum is good. Criminals almost to the last man, they deserve to be dragged out of their westminster stye and executed.

Cheers, I was about to post that link. As you can see, everything has been done using British Common Law, it's all legal and there's nothing the authorities can do about it.
He has had so many offers of free representation from legal bods all over the country he is overwhelmed by the response.

Politically he believes the country would be better served by elected representatives not connected to any particular party, the same as the old system.

That's not all he believes...

Quote:
"my personal freedom comes directly to me from God Himself, and that the walls and doors of all and any prisons now under the control of Traitors to the Crown & People of the United Kingdom will crack wide and will open at the behest of God Himself, if they should seek to impose penalty upon me for my departure from their mischiefs"

He was doing OK up until that point. He really shouldn't have let Elvis and Bigfoot help with drafting his manifesto the last time he was abducted by aliens.

Agreed, why did he have to bring God into it, thought he was supposed to be intelligent.

To be honest, I can't make a lot of sense of what he has written, and I realise that is how old what he is quoting is. But in my opinion that makes him wide open to appeal to lots of people who really don't understand but need a similar bandwagon to jump onto.

Just like other religious crap then?

Still not quite sure what he hopes to achieve. If everyone followed suit, how would the country function. 'They' would soon put a stop to it.

Because he is quoting original documents and laws, and that is the wording.

Its not about religion.

How can they put a stop to something that is completely legal?

I understand those who wish to be argumentative for the sake of it, I just wish they would offer a better (or even just another) idea or solution when slagging off someone elses actions.

Well, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride - as my grandmother used to say.

Your idol's the one who brought sky-goblins into his project. It just makes him look like a sandal-wearing sandwich-board nutter, whatever other merits his plan might have. Bitch about it to him.

the guy is just using the language, terms and customs of the times the law was written. To put forward his point he has to use the same language, terms and customs.
I say good on him, a bit excentric, but so what. These old laws are used against us so many times it is fun to see them used back on the establishment.

There are no sky goblins, there are legal documents and wordings, your making it up to try and give your pointless argument some merit. Which is quite similar to your usual tactics of internet stalking.

'They' will close the loophole soon enough, before it catches on. Although it is intriguing that it's widely known that US taxes are unconstitutional and illegal, so plenty have opted out. They haven't closed that yet.

Also in Greece (or at least zakynthos) at least 90% of the houses have steel supports sticking out the top, so it looks like they're still under construction. Which means they don't pay tax on the house. Thats been around years Laughing

But here. Pff, I give it 6 months now its come to there attention. Maybe 12.
