Nothing special really, just a little stupid going the wrong side of the road on some of those blinds

Stupid (for the road), but amazing riding. Apparently the bloke on the Duke 999 is a Greek national superbike rider. Wouldn't suprise me after watching that.

Totally insane on those roads... Shocked

Duke rider seems... pretty damn good.

Gixxer guy might want to invest in a slipper clutch... and life insurance. Some ham fisted shifting, throttle and clutch control.

Not that he's terrible, just not brilliant.

Selfish w@nkers in my opinion. They could easily have taken out a biker coming the other way with some of the blind overtakes. Also the cagers would have found it pretty intimidating and this sort of thing just adds more fuel to the 'all bikers are agressive assholes' fire.
Leave that level of commitment to the track where you can be sure there isn't anything coming the other way.

Other than that there was some skilled riding on show.

"blind overtakes". They could probably see tbh. Where the camera is mounted yo ucan't see over cars or round corners. I sometimes overtake on corners and people think "OMG you're overtaking on a blind corner!"

No I'm not I'm overtaking a corner that I can see everywhere.

Ok, don't overtake anything because it'll just add up the hate

Don't know about the guy in front, but the fellow following seems to be chasing beyond his comfort zone. Nearly wiped out at 45 sec into the show. Nice tree-lined drop-off on the mountain's edge.

Now, I haven't the testicles or skill to ride anywhere near that level, but then I don't put other people at risk by trying to. Didn't look very friendly at all.

There are at least 3 occasions on that video where it's clear the second rider is blindsighted. Of course not being there we can't be 100% sure but either way riding like that with other traffic present is a w@nkers trick.
I prefer not to be one.

not sure if anyone will agree, but riding fast with a person or two, for many years does give you this sort of "Sence" of other road users, you can normaly read the guy in front, his reactions ect, if theres anything coming, again, not sure if im the only one, but you tend to pick up morse code from the rear light of the guy in front aswell.

Trick is, not being the lead rider Razz

Sure you can read other's 'vehicle language', what if they call it wrong?
One place for that sort of riding and it isn't public roads.

45 seconds in? When the angle of the bike changes drastically?

Laughing

That's him "backing it in". Locking the rear brake in order to "drift" around the corner. A way of showing off.

Well what if you read vehicle language wrong in any other situation like commuting? Could have the same effects.

Can't imagine the consequences could be as dire as my commute doesn't involve blind overtakes over solid white lines following a lunatic.

Solid white lines, some of them are god, some of them can easily be crossed SAFELY on a bike and even some are safe on a car. I happily break and go over quite a few white lines on my bike on my daily commute and I feel it safe and I have never felt in danger at all.

Blind overtakes? You can't say it was blind until you see the field of view that they see from their eyes and not the tank. What may seem like a "blind" overtake could easily be where they can see everywhere.

the guy following is going to find himself planted in a car or a hedge one of these day! he just pushes it too much for my liking, he nearly lost it completely 45 seconds in.

What the fuck does he do at 3:11???

45 seconds was backing it in.

3.11 looked like head shake.
