is this a power valve on my rs125?

iv attached a picture of what seems to be a powervalve on my new rs125 but im not too sure if it is one or not. If it is, shouldn't there be a big cable coming out and leading to the exhaust?

edit: just googled rs 125 powervalve, this looks similar.

yeah i was just thinking that but in that pic on the link there is a chunky cable coming out the powervalve which mine doesn't seem to have, unless it was taken off by the dealer when i bought it or something.

It looks like the solenoid part of the assembly. Get the fairings off and get down to the bottom of your exhaust to see if theres an oval shaped blank with square sides or if the actual blade has been left in.
