CG125 - Power problem?

I've been riding my CG for a week now, 40 miles a day.

No real problems, sometimes 2nd gear sticks, but that's probably my fault

However, I've been noticing that whenever the road is angled more than 91 degrees, the bike simply slows down. Case in point; the road I travel on is fairly level, but there is a section that slowly rises up, and when that happens, the bike could be doing 55+, in 5th, and will suddenly drop down - even after changing down to 3rd, it still struggles to go forward.

Ok, I know a CG isn't exactly a powerhouse, but I would have thought it should be able to handle slight inclines without too much trouble? Or am I way off base here, and will just have to put up with it. OR maybe lose 6 stone?

I think anything its just not got enough power,
as it may look like a little incline but for a bike its probably huge.
I have to usually drop a gear and nail it to go up hills.
