Hi guys, I feel so feckin stupid for doing his, but here it goes:

I n a rush I accidentally put the disclock on the wrong way around, so it's facing inwards, and how it's positioned I don't have great access to it.. to top it off, i've snapped 1 of the keys in the lock pissing about with it.. it's fully in so I can't use pliers.
It's a xena alarmed disclock if that's any use, any ideas guys?

cheers.

Ad.

Hmm you mean those drill proof xena locks that are drill proof hack proof etc? .

if the key is snapped then surely you can just push it in a bit more and effectively use the remainant of the key to turn the lock? (if its not all the way in poke it in?).

Else you may have to take off the caliper , remove the disc , and angle grind it off,

Can you unbolt the disc to give you better access, maybe take the wheel off too?

Congratulations, you have failed.

Caliper off, wheel off, disc off.

Chop the lock off with an angle grinder, being carefull not to damage the disc.

Reasemble and remember not to do it again.

Get some sort of small metal rod,
Super glue on the end of it,
Put it in the lock so its got a good contact on the key stuck in there,
wait for it to dry, either use this to remove the key out or if its strong enough cut it off.
You might have a spare who knows.

Maybe try (dunno if it will work) get a hack-saw. Un-bolt the the blade. thread that between the disk and the lock. then try and re-attach blade to saw and cut through the locking pin? The only weak bit I can see on my Xena disk lock...

Now you mention it it could have been Aldi where I saw the angle grinders. Only thing I know for sure is that it was not Netto. If so it is Aldi that has the mushrooms in oil.
I think I need to phone my mom, she is the expert on German supermarkets.
