Yeah I've had it before, where you're half awake and half asleep and you try and wake up, and you can't move.

Its horrid! Confused

Haven't got it for a while now but used to get it frequently when I was at college. I found that when I was taking the nasty shite that is Pro Plus, I was pretty much guaranteed to get it later that night. Once exams and lack of sleep and too much caffiene was over, they slowed to a stop.

Fucking scary when you don't know what's happening but easier to control when you know what it is cos you can kind of try to make yourself relax and just wait it out. Some of the hallucinations are shit scary though, was really horrible.

Do you know why it's happening to you atm, vee?

I know its happening but i still get a panic reflex and urge my body to move.

Don't know why its happening, i dont have much caffiene, get plenty of exercise etc.

Have a history of being hyperactive and not sleeping, could be something to do with it.

I know a girl that suffers with it . Talking about it with her and putting her in contact with others helped a little but it is not a pleasant thing to experiance. If you can understand what is going on when it happens it can relieve some of the panic.

There are support groups that may be able to help. Do you get the figure in the room that tries to smoother you?

Sounds like it's a ballhair away from lucid dreaming, just slightly the other side.

I reckon sleep paralysis would be a reasonable payoff for some good quality lucid dreaming in return. You simply can't buy drugs that are THAT good.

I suggest eating cheese before going to bed (or even in bed).

If there were lucid dreaming involved it would be worth it probably.
