Hi,

Seeking advice on panniers for a Suzuki VX800. Been Looking at some cheap Oxfords etc. But need to know if they'll fit on a bike without removable pillion seat.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Jordee

I used to have hard panniers on my VX800, but they were bolted on to home made brackets, removal took about an hour.

If you get the oxford special racks the hard panniers just clip onto them, nice and easy. I don't think they care whether or not your pillion seat is removable, but if you don't have a VX800-specific rack, you'll probably have to adapt the rack, or make some home made brackets to mount it.
