50cc... Why no respect?

Im 16, at school, ride a 50... CHAV!

No im not, but everybody automatically thinks i am.
I ride my 50 to get around, and i enjoy it.

Its not a scooter its a Yamaha TZR 50, which is still a moped but looks like the R6 or R1. Its not them RS50's that look like they came from Toys R us.

Im not 1 of those kids who say, oh yea my scooter does 60+, my bike does 70+ but it isnt a lie and yes its been tuned to do that. But i stick to the speed limit (most times lol) and ride resposible.

I aint 1 of those chavs on scooters who act like total dickheads, cos i hate them as well. Yes my bike is insured, taxed. MOT and i have a licence and ive done my CBT.

I also give *the nod* and get most back but i think thats only because they think my bike is a 125. I do want a bigger bike, but im 16 so *make-do*.

Please don't judge all 50's as being a chav, i no most are but not all.

Give some respect back yea!

a tzr 50 does not look remotley likean r6 or r1, it looks like a wana be fast bike if were honest.
50's are fine, nothing wrong with them, i judge people on the way they ride, not what they ride. I have a different respect for a fast rider as apposed to someone who has a nice bike.
your 50 probably wont even touch 60, get a life is still slow as shit so dont brag about haveing a quick slow bike, just accept the fact your slow, and live with it, we've all been there, and all had the same attitude as you.

i think its, shut up and sick it, weve all been in your shoes, and bragged about our 50's, and got the stick from other bikers, its part of life, stop bitching.

Its also made by the same designers.

Yes i get your point about the bragging about our 50's. My dad done it, my uncles did it, but thats not my point.

but other ppl riding canot tell

behind the helmit if u r or not so i treat most 50cc as chavs and most 125s but u can tell sumtimes by chavs in there hoodies n nike 110s

I get nods mainly except from sports thou' riders (R1, ZX10-R, CBR1000 GSXR1000 etc.) and BMW riders I seem to have noticed

I've accepted I'm just gonna have to wait until I'm the right age, I waited 16 years to get a road bike, another year to get a big one isn't agony.
