I can completely agree i can one of them chinese peices of sheit for my first bike (a moped) 2 of the panels fell off (the belly pan and side panel) whilst i was riding almost came off because of the belly pan, had it in the shop being repaired 24/7 i had it off the road more than on the road and the garages idea of de-restricting was 'changing the jets' i just laughed at them as i knew all the restrictions to make it go about 40mph (better than 30mph cmon).

To anyone thinking of buying one like the OP says keep well away they may seem cheap and cheerfull but they are peices of recycled plastic put togather with faulty wiring all over the place and dodgey spot welding.

Slightly OT, Normally I would just say that by accepting a repair you have accepted the bike and your stuck with it, but since you have had multiple repairs to this bike I would say you may be in with a good chance under the The Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended by the incorporation of The Sale & Supply of Goods to Consumers 2002 which introduced the reversed burden of proof for suppliers) for a replacement, a rescission of contract taking into account the use you have had (damn near a full refund if we assume the bike should last three years and you've had, say, ten weeks of interrupted use - 93.6% refund) or a full rescission of contract (100% refund.) as the goods are clearly not fit for purpose.

Talk to Trading Standards, or consult a Solicitor who offers a free initial consult. Thumbs Up

Might help towards the cost of a new bike!

[Edited for clarity of options]

Ah, well, good to see your on the ball! Thumbs Up

As for a replacement, Honda and Yamaha are good quality, not so fond of Kawasaki or Suzuki build quality myself.

If you have the cash then a good used bike will offer a lot more value for money than a new bike.

Tell them to fuck off, Honda don't even sell them for that much Confused

https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/DispatcherServlet?hidActionDetail=viewproductdetail&hidAction=Lookup&hidProductID=105&hidSelectedProductCode=CBR125R+07&hidProductName=CBR125R+07&hidMSGID=11&hidMSGCode=CC125&hidMSGName=125+CC&hidBannerPath=%2FmcStatic%2Fen%2Fpicture%2Fproduct%2FCBR125R+07%2Fprd_main_Banner.jpg&hidHomePath=%2Fjsp%2FmsgCC125Home.jsp#focusHere

Should be able to get a good second hand one for about £1000~£1500 at the most.

Another bike shouldn't really be too much bother, have a look around eBay, best place if you know what your doing in my opinion.

But avoid anything with a name like SKYCO etc., it's more chinese shit. If it has no brand in the description, e.g. "NEW MOTORCROSS 125CC FAST BIKE GO" then steer clear, and if in doubt, ask here.

depends what you want, a 125?

if so it basically comes down to this:

2t speed and devilish good looks Twisted Evil :
Honda NSR 125
Aprilia RS125
Cagiva mito 125

etc...

Or motocross/supermoto:
KTM exc's
Huskys
derbi senda 125 (4t though)
Aprilia mx/rx 125
AJP/GAS GAS

but all these bikes are pretty high cost and high maintenance...but so worth it!

or you can stick to the 4t's like the:
Honda cbr 125
Crack'a'jack chinese toys like the Lifans, Skygos etc
Honda cg125 etc
