A2 intensive? Whats that like a DAS but you have to take your CBT still and your still restricted to 33bhp?
Hmmm never heard of that before, to be honest mate I am very jealous right now, as I have a full A2 license and no bike atm becuase I've just fucked mine up Mad.
Just makesure you're carefull... not safe, just careful Wink

thankyou very much, what happened to your bike?

the a2 intensive is a 5 day course where all the kits included (bike, gear etc.) during the 5 days you do your cbt and theory and then at the end of the 5 days you do your test. so yeh the same as das but on smaller bikes.
i think its just a quicker way of doing your test instead of just booking lessons. well done on passing your a2 btw, is it hard?

my mum and dad have already said you better be careful lol but im sure i will be, ill definately be restricting it anyway.
cheers.

Yeh the Test and the theory are a piece of piss, just prepare an practise thats all.
I crashed my bike into a wall, after 10 months of riding thanks to fucking fuel slicks, then I repaired it and it was back on the road until I ragged the gearbox with a nasty triple downshift.
I did go everywhere way to fast so I revved the life out of that poor bike. Karma

Yes I did actually, only offed it twice, including that crash. I hit the wall at about 15mph from 40, the rear wheel locked up on the gravel and probably saved me from hitting the wall myself, the bike fell onto my leg but I just got back up.
Thank goodness I did'nt hit the wall myself at any higher speed Smile

Thankyou for asking though, Have fun out there Thumbs Up Mr. Green

tidy bike
take it steady starting off on 33bhp Wink
also if you dont feel confident enough to go on the road just book another lesson in road craft, as unless youve ridden a bike before its hard to explain what danger you seem to be in.

Either a VFR400, Triumph Street Triple, Triumph Speed 4, CBR600RR or my dream bike the R6.
It will be at very least 3 months, and it probably depends mostly on whether I get into the Marines or not, becuase If I do I'll get the bike immediatly Very Happy .

No matter what I decide to get I can't be doing with this 33bhp restriction, I'll just make a plate flip up and hide mechanism (People think I'm joking Wink ).

Its much more serious to have a plate flipping mechanism than it is to ride on a 33bhp license without restriction.

One is "not riding in accordance with the terms of your license".

And the other is "Perverting the course of justice".

As a slight aside, if you get into the marines you won't have time to ride a bike until your training is complete!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I've allways had military sort of interest... As a kid I stupidy actually thought that I would grow up to be a career bank robber Laughing .
Then I got arrested for that sort of stuff and grew up, while I was growing up I started to think seriously about the Marines, being that they are the best of the regular forces.

To be honest dude i dont think people pay much attension about restrictions unless your on a ridiculessly powerfull bike.
stick to a 400 and they probly wont think twice about it.
mines not restricted and ive been on the road since october on it.
myfriend who has a Very loud streetfightered vfr 400 was pulled because of the noise and they didnt say anything about the restriction Smile lucky for him cause his bike has about 60 something bhp.
ive been told also that with restrictions they go shit slow because little 400s have to be ridden like 2 strokes to get decent power.
they dont have alot of torque at low revs.

i got a restriction in my rvf and its still fast for legal purposes, obviously it wont do a ton in 30 zones like a 1000cc will but will still kick pretty much any cars arse and get to 70 pretty quickly, not timed it though.

If you get caught without restrictors you get banned which im not willing to risk.
