Was coming back from the gym around 4pm this afternoon, pull up to roundabout and over the next exit on the left see a biker with exactly same bike as me colour etc, so I'm payin attention to this guy an as he is about to pull off some twat in a volvo estate goes right into the back of him. Bike gets jerked forward then he comes off the bike, the NSR smashes right into the ground with some force.

THe biker got up fairly quickly and looked mightly pissed off. So i pull out an pull over to where it happened, get off an ask if he;s alrite. Naturally he says he's fine but looked like he could cry as he eyed up his bike. Ask the bloke who went into him if he usually has a fuckin afternoon nap around this time whilst driving, I mean christ knows how he managed to do that, slipped off his clutch perhaps? I dont know, but I made the driver aware that I;d seen everything and that he was fully reponsible so he didnt try an pull no funny business.

Biker wheels his bike to the curb to inspect the damage, fairings cracked like a bleedin pavement and some fluids were leakin out, it seemed to rev ok though so dont know, but after the cager gave his deatils I left him with my name an number in case he wanted a witness or anything then went about my business.

Was a worrying thought to think the guy coulda easily got injured and had his bike totalled, and for what? I mean, I can understand if he was actualyl in motion but this guy was at a busy roundabout stationary and the car driver still managed to go into the back of him at quite a speed. Confused

Nope, sounds like normal bike blindness. Its a fact that drivers who are not paying 100% are only subconsciously aware of cars. Bikes, people, horses etc don't exist.

its because people in cars dont pay no bloody attention to whats going on they forget there are other road users around....for instance my uncle who lives in cyprus had nasty accident few weeks ago at a junction and a lorry wanted to turn into the road my uncle was pulling out of so stopped to let my uncle out so he had enough room to swing the lorry round and as he pulled out some dozey t*at from behind the lorry decided he couldnt wait the extra couple of seconds for the lorry to turn so over took it straight into the side of my uncle, broke his collar bone got 8 internal pins in elbow, 3 in his wrist chipped his hip bone and is bruised from head to toe down one side.......just wish people would learn to concentrate on their driving rather than how many more seconds something is goin to put on their journey...is it really worth someones life??

The cage was probably doing much the same to you.

At least he got off lightly. Hopefully he'll send his bike to a main dealer and get everything replaced and rape the fucker for all his monies.

Some people are just idiots...
This happened to me in the car.

halfway down a mile long dual carriageway sitting at the end of a traffic jam when BANG this woman drives straight into the back of me.

Got out and walked round to her car and she had paperwork diary all kinds of shite on the passenger seat.

FFS how can you not see a queue of stationary traffic ?
Not very well when your busy writing your diary up obviously.

When she moved her car back there was a clear outline of her number plate in my bumper.

The killer was "maybe some t-cut will fix it?" hahahahaha stupid cow.

That's why I always try to get infront of the last car, even if I can't filter down the whole queue. Just getting out of that dangerous end zone is a priority!

lol at the T-Cut too Smile
