Fitted my 900ss track bodywork at the weekend. Not the greatest quality in the world and the fit isn't brilliant, but who cares?

Used a Fein Multimaster borrowed from work to cut the fiddly bits out. (Brilliant little oscillating tool, cuts, sands etc)

Ground clearance is a bit reduced now. Also got some 2CT's on it, which seem to be around 300% better than the 014's that were on it.

Fairings were from Ricambi Weiss (eBay) and were £125 delivered. Cheap enough Thumbs Up

You should paint it with chalk board paint and then write loads of stuff all over it. You could make the fairings into an art piece if you get loads of people to 'doodle' on it. Laughing

Paint it, you can get away with doing a shit job, but just sticker it up Very Happy

Low quality pant job, with stickers from afar and in pictures look good.

It's brilliant.

Done about 2000 miles now. Ride it everyday.

A few little niggles, clutch master started leaking (£5 fix) Speedo cracked off (sustained 140mph for about 30 miles, understandable) and it's shite in town.

Handling is superb. Got some 2cts and it seems like a very good combo. Even had 2up KD yesterday.

And the RSVR?

Bit crap if im honest, i been fucked up the arse with no lube by aprilia already regarding a 226 quid first service, and now the bikes run in its pretty dangerous when you rag it, tankslaps everywhere and the front tucks if you arnt carefull.

A serious suspention setup is needed, oh why oh why didnt i get the 999S.

Black 749's are nice but there just something that isnt right about having a black duke though.

Also they come with the bog standard suspention and dont have extras like a steering damper, always go for the S model.

They already have, 749's are DIRT cheap, and also if you are gonna get a 749 Black get a MONO Wink

A white front and back numberplate would set it off
https://w2.bikepics.com/pics/2007%5C01%5C18%5Cbikepics-775252-800.jpg

They also sound cum worthy, my 749 with Termi assemetric system as above.

Well, it looks cheap and based on rider input rather than wallet.

Looking out for a cheap 600ss/Monster as it is anyway.

Aye, same as the hornet cup, I just figured hornet spares were more plentiful and cheaper than monster ones. Thumbs Up
