The post office in my local town moved from one building to another, and in the process 'lost' all tax discs starting in April, and only have tax from May. As the bike is currently sorn I cant buy a May one etc
I qued in there for at least half an hour to be told 'ah coz we are new we are shit and you cant have tax till May'
Like wtf?!

Its to late in the day now to go elsewhere, I'l just have to try tommorow.

The good news is the bike past its MOT today! haha it blew a headlight fuse on the way home and a fairing panel tried to break free, I dont care though because I got the certificate!

Your MOT certificate only states that your bike/car was road worthy at the time of testing. A really pissed off PC plod could still book you for riding/driving an un-roadworthy vehicle.

How can a post office loose some tax discs, don't they just print them out? Confused

I think it's made like money with holograms and crap. All the postoffice do is print your information onto the ready printed tax disc.

Print ? At ours they still write on them.....

I would have taken one, as it does not have a valid from date on them, only expires 05 2009

As you are unable to buy tax disks anymore than 15 days before the end of the month that would have been a nice free month.
If stopped you can just say, well thats what i was given when i asked for a tax disk.
Any problems take it up with the PO.
