rear wheel's wider and therefore there's less chance of the foreign object bouncing off a curved part of the wheel?
Be my guess anyway... ____________________ RTW Motorcycle Blog |

Shit luck?
My only puncture been up front.
Probably extend it out over long enough/enough examples it'd be fairly even. Although above is possibly a reason.
Might be something to mcgee's ( ) arguement, more weight over the back etc. ____________________ Previous - Gilera DNA50 / XVS125 Dragstar/Honda CBR 600F/GSF 650 Bandit

I once got told that once the front wheel hits an object like a nail is forces it up so therefore its pointing up for your backwheel so more chance of getting a puncture in the back rather then the front
No idea if thats ture or not, was from a 70 year old biker and i believe owt im told because im young

Ive had 2 punctures in the front and 2 in the back on my bikes.
Plugged them all at work too.
Rear is generally a more prone tyre as it is wider.
Bikes are more prone to punctures than cars also because they ride on the "shitty" bits on the roads. Like when filtering. All the crap gets pushed into the central reservations.
