Going foookin crazy on hold...

Been trying to call Express Insurance (the suzuki 'specialists') to make a correction to a mistake in my policy.

So i ring through, go through the automated system to the change policy section and sit there for 20 minutes on hold till i get pissed off and hang up.

Ring back about 20 minutes later, go through the automated system to sit there for 10 minutes on hold before being transferred back to the start of the automated system.

Go through it again, sit on hold for about 2 minutes then back to automated insurance.

Think f**k it the finance team (who take our hard earned) are bound to be the best at answering phone, i'll call them and get a direct transfer.

Lo and behold.... hold...

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try this website https://www.saynoto0870.com/ They normally have the freephone number on there. Sometimes they tell you how to avoid the automated system.

I find that if you don't press any buttons you usually get put through to someone quite quickly.

Got it done now after a few arsey emails and at last a helpful woman who actually (acted like she*) gave a crap.

Would normally have written a letter etc after so much hassle, but need the bike taxing and it was through the DVLA online system not recognising the insurance that i noticed the mistake!

I wander if it is the case that i have been riding without insurance due to this technicality?

They had the last 2 letters in my reg mixed up.

thats nothing... i had the same thing, decided to phone directly to the insurance provider...

i got through!!!!

they said ''sorry, we dont deal directly with the customer''
