Hey all, just abit of a quick one - see if anybody has ideas, or has had the same?

Basically if i leave my leg in the same position for say 3-5 mins, it starts to really hurt asif it had been there for hours. Then when i move it, if i touch the top of the knee (towards my groin area) it sends a really sharp Stabbing type pain down towards the bottom of my knee (Foot direction)

Then the other day i was out for a walk - and this normally is fine but i kept getting a trapped nerve, and this would last for around 15-20 mins before subsiding?!

It has been like this for months now and doesnt seem to be getting better?

thanks everyone.

Jenks

It's soooo true that people are scared to go to the doctors Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

BCF CAN'T HELP YOU

If it caused you that much of a problem then you'd go to the docs..

No offence, but for you own good, go get it checked out by a professional and not someones misguided "might be this" crap on here.

Go see your local doctor mate... Not worth risking your knee... If it hurts all the time thats all i can suggest. Failing that try and rest as much as possible for a few days and see how it goes then.

EDIT:Damn... Sparks beat me to giving the positive advice Sad

Mine crack and lock on a daily basis, if I sit with them bent for a short while I get the feeling you've mentioned but I don't get the shooting pain.

My so called doctor ( I don't think he's ever been qualified tbh, I'm changing mine in a week or so ) has put it, along with the pain in my wrist, neck, shoulder ( left one as the right one was smashed in an accident at work years back ) and elbow down to arthritis, seems to be the easiest call as it runs in the family...

It sounds like you've got a Gay Knee. A spot of lip balm around the joint will keep the chaps aways.

To much monkey fucking, the sore knees is just the start. Nasty stuff malarian jungle aids.

On a serious note, try googling knee injuries.....They're can be many different types of knee injury and often a doctor is ill prepared to offer any advice other than anti inflammatories or injections. Of course, self diagnosis is taken completely at yer own risk.
