Now that I've passed my A2 test I need to restrict my GSXR 400 for 2 years. Me and my dad don't want to mess with the carbs so we're after a bodged throttle stop (clamp something on in such a way it stops the throttle opening too much)

Only thing is I need to know where 33bhp is generated, to mark on the throttle where i need the stop to be. Could I take it to a local dealer or garage to get that done? Or would I need a dedicated dyno place? In which case does anyone know how I could find one close to me - maybe there's a list somewhere?

Cheers

Use google, and yes you'll need a dyno place.

You can look up a list of dynojet dyno's on the dynojet site, or just use google and it'll bring up all dynos.

This sounds like the kind of throttle stop that is made so it can accidentally fall out to me.

Maybe after a year or so, but I don't have a deathwish. It's more the sort of throttle stop that won't cost an arm and a leg to fit, like most other restrictions I've heard of.

Cheers. I'll give google another go. I did try of course but couldn't find any local listings or anything. I'll try that dynojet stuff.
