Ai - and anyone else who can help to argue that surfing isn't for blonde puffs..... Very Happy

As you've said, chill and enjoy yourself. I don't think anyone on here says anything in a nasty way, normally just an attempt to make people laugh. Susi is dry, and very straight (and has a tendancy to crack me up...) get to know her you'll love her too Very Happy

you play guitar rite? How long have you been playing for?

Yes, I play guitar. I'm kind of crap at it to tell the truth Laughing, either that of just very shy around people. As for playing I could say that technically I've been at it for the last 7 years, but I remember just pulling at the strings and making 'noise' throughout the first year because I couldn't be bothered to take lessons. In fact to date I still haven't had a lesson because I knew that if I did I'd end up running out and never touch the instrument again (it happened with the piano).

I've also been in a couple of bands. I played rhythm guitar and really enjoyed it. It's something I wouldn't mind getting back in to if only just to muck around and have a laugh. I'd definitely recommend you practice a little more on your bass and even possibly take your friends up on their offer.

Just out of curiosity, what type of stringed bass to you own? I've always found it amusing when females pick up a three stringed bass because they're nearly always labelled as the girls who found the guitar too difficult to play and put it aside for the next best thing.

I haven't read any replies slating men for what this man is supposed to have done to bloodstar, he would represent about 0.01% of the UK population of men probably. But when it comes to posts saying all men are the same (when it comes to trivial gripes) then I agree with you, they're not, the women just pick the same type of men over and over again.

Was listening to the news this morning about domestic violence and stuff, and they said on average two people a week are killed by their partner. Shocked

Hi

Seems a bit exagerated, as that would make over 700 a year. There are only around 800 murders a year in the UK.

All the best

Now what instrument is that when it's at home? The base of a table lamp, a vase? I could go on.

Hi
Pm to bloodstar
Quote:

Woh there nelly, its a typical guitarist-base, joke. Yes ive been playing guitar for 4 years im kinda good but not great (must work on soloing more). But to be honest base is easier to pick up and play, i was teaching my girl frined to play guitar but she couldnt do it so she plays the base line. I went to a music school a few time and most of the baseist's were female and there wernt many in the guitar group. Dont get me wrong advanced base (slapping, triple finger playing) is damn good, a mate of mine whos in 2 bands in the best basist i'ver seen theres no base line he cant playing and he can slap at a million miles an hour.

Sorry about the post, just a cheep shot at girls no harm meant.
What i should have said was Base is for simple people both boys and girls Mr. Green . See even.

Luke (dodges flying bases)

Well, I can't imagine a shortie being warm enough to get much practice in. Even in Portugal this summer I was using a full winter suit. So, maybe if you want to get out more you'll be needing a thicker suit.

James is Cornish so I only really know Cornish dealers, Mr Snugg is the best guy out there. He altered my wetsuit (took legs up, waist etc in) for a rediculously small amount of cash.

What size board do you ride?
