Found this on another forum,

https://www.zinio.com/express2?issue=206338267

corsa's 3's came ahead of the supercorsas Confused

Am i the only one that think Corsas 3's look crap Rolling Eyes
Saw 2 dukes in a shop recently, one with 208's and the other with Corsa's 3's, made a big difference in the over-all look of the bike.

Supercorsas still got by far the fastest lap.

Don't think it's a matter of how many think they look - but how many actually care - can't see the tread pattern very well if you're riding it properly Smile.

I know the Corsa 3's are a good tyre but they kinda look like a touring tyre so they don't exactly inspire confidance in me.

Actually i was going to get set of them or the 2CT's last time but I picked up a cheap pair of 208rr's instead which are pretty good.

Next time, i'm gonna get a pair of supercorsas pro as a mate can't stop gushing how good they are, he reckons his lap time dropped about 4 seconds straight off on his R1. Thumbs Up

If you're going for supercorsas, I'd go for part-worn race scrubs. 98% of the grip and 40% of the price.

A lap time dropping 4 seconds might be because he was a very good track rider at the limit of grip on the previous tyres, or might just be that he was happier to push harder on new tyres. Even in the middle of an average trackday fast group, sticky-ish road tyres should be fine, I'd say.

its not about how they look its about how they feel when you ride. you have a bent view when it comes to tyres.

I can agree to that G the TDs I've been to you tend to get varied levels of skills in each group and everyone tends to take completely different lines.

I can only imagine the extra edge of a brand new tyre would only come useful when everyone is on the proper racing line.
