Yup seen it in the flesh (unfortunately) Sick

I'ts too horrible for words, it really is. Once you get close to it in the flesh the proportions are all over the place and it just looks utterly, totally wrong. Sad

In my opinion of course Wink

I'm not too sure about it at the moment as I actually havent seen it, although I hear its the same engine as the commuter Confused. From the pictures i've seen it looks alright from some angles I think.

It wouldn't have been so laughable had Suzuki not given it the Suzuki 'corporate-image' front end. It just looks like a poor Airfix model of a GSXR Razz You know, the ones you get at markets for a "Pahn" Very Happy

i think it looks alright, it's never gonna be a sports bike but it's not bad

has anyone ever seen a gs with an rgv/rg fairing on it?

I am not keen on the new GS, The rgv fairing looks OK and my GS is naked - the only fairing I've seen on a GS that looks any good (and trust me I've been looking cos my neck is shagged from the 90mph riding in winds)(On a private road) Wink is the TCP Elipse fairing which is Suzuki's standard ne if you order from a dealer for the old shaped bikes.

PS There is bugger all wrong with the engine on the GS - withstands anything you throw at it - just you may WANT more power. Does everything I ask of it.

You can get this aftermarket fairing to fit the GS - I had it on my CB5 and it looked alright. Certainly kept the old wind off. Smile

It doesn't look that bad to be honest. GSs are great bikes anyway, I can hardly fault mine. For the old shape models, Suzuki used to do an aftermarket fairing themselves and that looked pretty good

That bike looks quite nice(at the top) i thought and compared to standerd comuter type bikes i would much rather ride that one at least it look like a sports bike.

Personally looks wise i think the new GS looks better than the kawasaki GPZ, think it looks alot sharper. I'm considering more the commuter/faired bike as i've been on a cruiser for the last 9 months and i would like to get more into the performance bikes.

Hi

Looks wise to an extent I would agree, but the GS looks far more unfinished from up close (eg, from the riding seat). Also the GPZ500 has about 15% more power than the GS500.

All the best

Keith

Oooh look a GSXR Rolling Eyes Oh maybe not then. See? It just tries to hard to look like it's bigger brothers that's all.

I think it's likeevery other bike - it's personal taste - I suppose if I saw one I might like it.

The CBR125 looks good from a wierd angle at the rear (it had the seat at eyelevel and I squinted) and my missus loves it!!!
Yet most of us hate them!!!

A 500 or a 125?

You're buying bikes on looks rather than performance, aren't you! Very Happy

That would be the case as it seems. End of the day you can buy a 1000cc but if your only using it to goto work, college and the occansinal trip to the shops. When are you going to get the chance to reach nearly 2 ton
