I have an orf in the pond that is steadilty turning green. Looks like he needs a good wash but is still active and seems healthy.

Any fish keepers in the house who know what it may be?

check your ph level in you pond , i had some orf that developed a problem due to a high ph level , they should have a healthy level of slime on them.
what other fish do you stock.

I have a few blue orf left. They are very hardy fish. I had two pond pumps stolen in the space of a month, following which all my koi and most of my goldfish developed dropsy and died due to poor water conditions. I gave up on buying yet another pump, and the pond has been unfiltered for more than 6 months now. The orf are still going strong. They have grown from about an inch to 8 inches in a year and a half.
