so basically you just drink shakes and thats pretty much it? so the second you finished the "diet" you'll not be any the wiser as to what is healthy to eat and you'll go back to old ways and get fat again! And what about exercise? you can't expect to lose a lot of weight and keep it off without any exercise.
Seems a waste of money anyways, you can buy Nurishment meal drinks from asda for 59p each, that and some special k bars = cambridge diet for a lot less ££££... but you'd be far better off eating healthily and doing exercise, especially for the long term. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

not exactly with CD there are different steps i am on sole source where i just have the shakes, then you can move onto sole source plus where u have 3 CD shakes plus a 200 kal meal, so it does slowly introduce you back onto food in a healthy way. the 200kal meal can only consist of white meat (chicken breast no skin or turkey) or white fish plus 3 tablespoons of green veg. then you can from there go onto the 800kal meal...1000 kal....1200 kal...1200+ meals and they give u a book about the different options you have and in all the steps u still have the shakes but u slowly drop a shake for a meal, but you still have to have the same kal as the shake (does it make sense??) lol...me it works 4 me i actually dont eat that much but the reason 4 me putting on weight is actually a long story..cut it short had allergies for 12 yrs (i just turned 19) no wheat, fish, peanuts, cheese basically everything! then after they left i just went on to proper foods and i just put on weight b4 the diet i ate 3 meals a day consisting of some veg and fruit bt still put on weight n i du have 2 take some blame because i did have episodes of over eating.! wow so long! but yes i agree it is about re-educating yourself which i am learning all about with my counsellor!. so its just some1's decision really. but i know what i have suffered so far i dnt think i want to go back when i loose weight!! to me its worth any penny to get back to how i used 2 b..i was not given the opportunity to see a dietition when i was 12 to slowly bring me onto these foods after 12 yrs of abstinance, so ill take this chance.! ____________________ ElaineXX |

I still think it's very over-priced when you can do the same thing yourself with information from the internet/books, your own custom plan and a shopping trip to Asda/Tesco etc.. but when it comes down to it, if it works for you then go for it.. but just be aware that you can do the same thing for a lot less money.
I believe that there is no excuse for being fat. I am overweight because I eat junk and don't exercise enough there is no other excuse IMO, but I'm no medical expert.
You sound strong willed and confident and motivated.. but seems it's only been a day so try and keep it up Do you do any exercise as well?
I need to sort my diet out as well so I am interested in this thread and not just picking on you so don't take me the wrong way I don't believe these fad type diets work but am useless at making healthy food and snacks, problem I have is I'm always fookin hungry wouldn't last 2 minutes on shakes and chewy bars ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

Fuck all those diets. Join British Military Fitness, eat sensibly and lose 3 inches around your stomach and 5 pounds off your weight in 4 weeks.
That's what I have just done. Never seen myself shrink so quickly. Another 4lb's and i'll finally get out of the "overweight" BMI bracket. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. All diets are crap.
In November, I weighed 16 stone 2 . . . I weigh 12 stone 7 now.
I have been lax on training and diet because work has been very demanding but the only way to do it well, is to train and eat clean. Its very easy.
I try to at least hit the gym 3 times a week (although like I say above, been hard recently), 10 minutes interval warm up on the tread mill, then onto weights, which ever muscle group I'm targetting, then maybe 30 mins or more of cardio.
If I'm lucky, I then like to chill in the pool for a while.
Diet - Eat 6 times a day, when I was good my diet was:
Museli and green tea with semi skimmed milk
Piece of fruit and something with lots of protein.
Dark green leaf salad with a massive lump of tuna and loads of cucumber etc. Maybe a light salad dressing also but i found if I cooked the Tuna Steak in pepper I didn't need to.
something with lots of protein.
Normal but clean meal - so a piece of fish, mash potatoes and loads of veg.
(You can replace the fish with chicken or turkey)
Once a week I was eating whatever the hell I wanted (cheat meal) plus on holiday I ate what I wanted. I dare say if I stuck more religiously to it I would have lost more but I'm happy with not rushing it.
I intend to get back into it after this weekend, I'm kickstarting it all by currently being in Derby hiking and scrambling.
It's probably best not to have a target weight, just change your life a bit - You can still enjoy stuff, just be restrained.

Besides which, depends if your a bloke or a bird.
Women struggle to lose weight, men shouldn't.
Just hit the gym and curb your intake on shit food. Not hard really.
Plus the more overweight you are the quicker you lose weight (to start with).
Tis when you get down to the final bit of gut you'll get annoyed (my situation) as i look fine, just annoyed ive got a slight beer gut still.
But meh, i'll cope ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...

Bonny i've cut out the beer (is hard with student lifestyle) and I have noticed dramatic decreases in beer belly gut. Now I just have an "eat too much" gut. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
